-
Preparation is Key: Before your visit, please ensure you are fully prepared for a new puppy. We ask that you have discussed this exciting decision with your family/significant other and have submitted your puppy application. This helps us ensure a good match for both you and our puppies!

Important Information for Out-of-State Buyers (Outside of Iowa):
-
Iowa Health Certificate Requirement: Iowa law mandates that any puppy sold to an out-of-state resident must be accompanied by a STATE OF IOWA HEALTH CERTIFICATE, issued by our licensed veterinarian. This certificate includes details about the puppy, you, and our kennel.
-
Certificate Issuance: The Iowa Health Certificate can only be issued once a specific puppy has been chosen. This means out-of-state buyers must select their puppy BEFORE traveling to Iowa. Please note that obtaining the certificate can take 24-48 hours, depending on our veterinarian's schedule. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this legal requirement. We encourage you to contact your own veterinarian if you have any questions about this process.
-
Rabies Vaccination (If Applicable): If the puppy is 12 weeks old or older at the time of pickup, a rabies vaccination is required by law for out-of-state transfers.
Health & Safety Protocols for Your Visit:
-
Protecting Our Puppies: To safeguard the health of our vulnerable puppies, we kindly ask that you reschedule your visit if you have been to another breeder, rescue, or have been around a sick dog within 48 hours of your appointment.
-
No Outside Pets: Please do not bring your current pets to the appointment.
-
Kennel Access: For the safety and well-being of our animals, no one is allowed inside our kennel facilities.
-
Restroom Facilities: We do not have public restrooms on-site. Please plan to use facilities before your arrival.
